This is Chelsea Wolfe's 7th studio album; we've got two of hers in the CD stacks: Pain Is Beauty (2013) and Birth of Violence (2019). Her music blends gothic rock, darkwave, doom metal, and neo-folk, though this album has more metal, industrial, and ethereal influences than the two albums I listed above. This album's got this goth vocals of early 2000s Evanescence and the electronic elements of 90s-2000s industrial metal, and its overall tempo is slow and moody.
